Meridian Consulting supports HealthTech companies, healthcare providers, investors, and innovation programs navigating market entry, strategic positioning, clinical partnerships, and ecosystem growth in Bulgaria and Central & Eastern Europe.
Meridian was built to help promising healthcare innovation move more credibly through real healthcare systems. We combine strategic thinking with practical understanding of providers, clinical realities, digital health implementation, market access, and healthcare business development.
We believe healthcare innovation succeeds when strategy is grounded in implementation reality. That means understanding not only the product, but also the provider environment, the incentives, the workflows, the economics, the stakeholders, and the regional conditions that shape adoption.
Meridian is designed to bridge those dimensions for companies and organizations working across Bulgaria and the wider Central & Eastern European region.
Meridian is led by two founders whose backgrounds combine healthcare operations, clinical understanding, product thinking, and strategic market development.
Co-Founder
Dr. Branimir Raduilov combines clinical practice, healthcare management, and more than 15 years of experience in clinical research. He is a physician in general medicine with pediatric clinical experience and additional training in health management, bringing a perspective that spans both frontline care and the broader structures through which healthcare innovation is validated and adopted.
His clinical research career includes senior roles across trial operations, feasibility, site management, investigator coordination, patient recruitment, and study execution. He has worked with global pharmaceutical companies including Quintiles, Accelsiors and Pfizer, and has also owned and led a CRO with international operations in Bulgaria and Ukraine. Through this work, he has developed a deep understanding of the operational, organizational, and cross-border realities that shape successful clinical programs.
Alongside his research background, Dr. Raduilov has substantial entrepreneurial, managerial, and investment experience in outpatient healthcare ventures and HealthTech start-ups. This combination allows him to connect clinical evidence generation with provider realities, business logic, and implementation requirements in a highly practical way.
Within Meridian, he contributes expertise in clinical research strategy, validation pathways, provider engagement, and the design of credible routes through which digital health and medtech solutions can move from innovation to real adoption across Bulgaria and Central & Eastern Europe.
Co-Founder
Konstantin Traev brings a multidisciplinary background spanning HealthTech, software development, product ownership, and cross-sector business strategy. His experience across pharmaceutical, food, and IT environments, combined with entrepreneurial activity, provides him with a broad and structured perspective on how complex products are developed, positioned, and scaled.
He has direct, hands-on involvement in the selection, evaluation, and implementation of medical software solutions in Bulgaria, working closely with healthcare providers and operational teams. This includes understanding system requirements, vendor capabilities, workflow integration, and the practical constraints that determine whether digital tools succeed in real clinical environments.
Alongside his implementation experience, he brings strong capabilities in product thinking, go-to-market strategy, and ecosystem positioning. His background enables him to connect product architecture, user needs, and market dynamics — ensuring that digital health and AI-driven solutions are not only technically sound, but also commercially viable and operationally relevant.
Within Meridian, he contributes to strategic positioning, product-market alignment, digital health implementation, and AI-driven solution integration.
